We are grateful for the support of our boat sponsors from:

Who joined two boats sponsored by Cosan with our own staff and guests.
After gathering for breakfast and crew briefings, we set of for the first race of the day across to Cowes. Unfortunately, light winds (a contrast to last year’s gales from the tail end of Storm Aileen) meant that motor sailing was the order of the day, in order to reach our lunch destination of the Island Sailing Club on time. The breeze did pick up in the afternoon though, with some good downwind racing on the way back to Gunwharf Quay in Portsmouth. Despite the generally ‘light’ conditions, the sun shone throughout, making it a very pleasant day to be on the water!!
Most of the crews were able to join us in the evening at the Still & West for the prize giving, a well-earned buffet, drinks and the opportunity to share tall tales of the days racing!
The overall Regatta winners were XPS Administration closely followed by ARC Pensions Law (runners up for the second year running). As winners, the XPS crew nominated their charity of choice to receive the £1,000 donation. They nominated the Marmalade Trust (https://marmaladetrust.org).
XPS also won the competition for the best tweets from the Regatta which can be seen using #cosanregatta2018 and on @cosanconsult or with the pictures below.
